Welcome to the homepage of the Center for Macroeconomic Research
The Center for Macroeconomic Research (CMR) is a part of the economics department of the Management, Economics and Social Sciences Faculty of Cologne University.
The CMR currently contains seven professorships and two junior professorships: Prof. Dr. Martin Barbie, Prof. Dr. Felix Bierbrauer, Prof. Dr. Peter Funk, Prof. Dr. Erik Hornung, Prof. Michael Krause, PhD, Prof. Matthias Messner, PhD and Prof. Dr. Andreas Schabert as well as Jun.-Prof. Francesco Giovanardi, PhD, Jun.-Prof. Dr. Emanuel Hansen and Jun.-Prof. Dr. Paul Schempp. Additionally, Prof. David Jaeger, PhD is affiliated as a regular guest professor at the CMR.
The main research and teaching areas of the CMR are macroeconomics and public finance.
